The Hyde Park Neighborhood Association (HPNA) was formed in May 2017 and incorporated as a 501C3 not-for-profit organization in January 2018. The HPNA was formed to connect neighbors – both renters and homeowners, promote (remove activities) and foster community activities and civic engagement while improving the quality of life for those living, working, or attending institutions within the Hyde Park neighborhood.
Membership is open to both renters and homeowners alike. Your membership and participation enables the HPNA to make the Hyde Park Neighborhood a better place to live and work. This can be accomplished by the reuse of historic buildings, stabilization of the neighborhood, compatible new development, increasing mobility and supporting the growth of its culture, arts, retail and social systems, ensuring the continued growth of the neighborhood, surrounding neighborhoods and the City.
Who can be a member of the HPNA? Membership in the HPNA is open to all natural residents of the Hyde Park Neighborhood, 18 years of age or older who can provide proof of residency. Membership dues are only $12 per year.
